Heavenly Finds Thrift Shop will now be open on MONDAYS, not Tuesdays

Our Thrift Shop, located at 90 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston is typically open once a week. At the request of our Diocesan Landlord, the day of the week the Shop will open to the public is going to be MONDAYS as of September 14, 2026. Despite being open on Tuesdays for over 70 years, the Shop will now be open on Mondays. If you would like to learn more about the Heavenly Finds Thrift Shop visit heavenlyfinds.org.

In 2021 we partnered with St. Peter's Livingston Thrift Shop, now named the Heavenly Finds Thrift Shop and an outreach ministry of our congregation.

The thrift shop is located at 90 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039 and is open most Mondays (as of September 14, 2026) from 10:00am – 2:00pm and sometimes on the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 1pm. To see the specific dates the Thrift Shop is open visit our website calendar.

As of June 2026, we have donated nearly $300,000 to various​ organizations since this partnership began in September 2021.

​In keeping with the vision and ministry of Heavenly Finds Thrift Shop, funding continues for various outreach programs. To date as we continue to focus on food insecurities and programs for youth, we have expanded our ministry to include other important programs.

• Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors CHOW - Food Pantry
• Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, West Orange - Christine’s Kitchen feeding program and pantry
• St. Peter’s Haven, Clifton - Food Pantry

Infant/Children/youth:

• Essex RAIN Foundation
• 2nd Floor Youth Helpline
• Youth Suicide Prevention Program - sponsor AFSP Out of Darkness Walk
• North Porch – Mother and Infant Centers
• Good Grief – counseling for youth dealing with a death of a parent or sibling
• Livingston High School scholarships
• Verona’s Children Fund

Other:

• Verona Fire Department & Rescue Squad
• Hyacinth Foundation
• Diocese of Newark's Alleluia Fund
• Verona’s Celebration of Pets sponsored by Church of the Holy Spirit
• Verona UNICO Labor Day 5-K Classic Run
• Church of the Holy Spirit Rector’s Discretionary Fund

We also continue to contribute merchandise from the shop to the American Breast Cancer Society, R.E.A.D. Foundation, Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter, North Porch, The Day Workers’ Project (The Trinity Church in Livingston’s outreach program), as well as other needs that arise.
