A Celebration of Pets 2017 Photos
On Sunday, October 1 from 1-4pm Holy Spirit Verona hosted our second annual Celebration of Pets in the Verona Town Hall Square with pet-orientated activities, vendors, crafts-people, and more.  This year we added DJ music provided by Automatic Entertainment, food vendors and a Pet Parade at 2pm with prizes in several categories.  It was a great chance to celebrate our love for all of God's creatures! On Gathering Sunday, September 10, 2017, our Choir returned to a regular singing schedule, we offered and special blessing for backpacks and we enjoyed a lovely outdoor potluck coffee hour!  No one left spiritually or physically hungry. View

Blessing of the Animals 2017 Photos
On Sunday, October 1, 2017 we once again celebrated the Feast of Saint Francis and the Blessing of the Animals during our 10am worship.  Attendees brought cats, dogs, a fish, stuffed animals and a few photos too.  Each pet received a personalized blessing at the conclusion of service. View

On Sunday, June 4, Pentecost Sunday, Holy Spirit Verona celebrated our Feast Day with the Sunday School students processing during worship, scripture readings in different languages and a RED Fellowship Hour will all food items being red. Easter Sunday 2017 Photos
On Easter Sunday we began our Festival Day by digging up the Alleluia Banner which had been buried on Ash Wednesday.  Then we celebrated Eucharist, returned to our tipple Alleluia (jumping) Dismissal, and the kids enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt while adults shared food and coffee in our Fellowship Hall. On Palm Sunday, April 9, 2017 members and guests of Holy Spirit Verona celebrated with a Palm Procession, a Children's Eucharist, blessed the food donated during our Lenten Food Drive, and concluded with the reading of The Passion.  It was a worship that began in pageantry and ended in tragedy.
