Kings Donates To Our Food Pantry

We are thankful to the Kings Verona management team who, earlier this year, began giving a portion of the donations purchased by Kings shoppers to our Food Pantry.  Recently, we were informed that ALL donations purchased at Kings in Verona will be donated to the Holy Spirit Verona Food Pantry.  We are most grateful to Kings’ leadership, and all those who shop at Kings Verona and purchase a pre-packaged bag of food and other essential items.

Transforming Generosity

Stewardship 2018-19 Kick-Off

On Sunday, October 21, we kick off our Stewardship Campaign that helps create the 2019 budget.  This is the time of year when we each recommit our time, talent and treasure to the Holy Spirit Verona Community.  This year’s stewardship theme "Transforming Generosity" is an opportunity to reflect on each of our priorities and plan for the future of this congregation as followers of Jesus.

Animal Blessings 2018 Photos

We once again hosted our annual Blessing of the Animals during our 10am worship.  To celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis, we transferred the October 4 holiday to Sunday, October 7.  Many pets and photos of pets were blessed and we were reminded of all of God's creatures great and small.

Welcome to Church of the Holy Spirit!

map

The red door on an Episcopal (Anglican) Church is traditionally a sign of welcome. Come through the door, and you'll discover that we are a multi-generational, family-centered church. Our congregation worships together, supports each other in times of trouble, celebrates together, and does God’s work in the world.  We are open, welcoming, and inclusive. We invite you to join us.

Finding Holy Spirit

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit is located at 36 Gould Street, Verona, and is one block north of Bloomfield Avenue. It is directly across the street from the H.B. Whitehorne Middle School track.

Park in the parking lot and come in the red door. Before each service, you are likely to find our rector standing on the sidewalk or front steps to greet you.
